Eliot Fisk, renowned worldwide for his virtuosity and adventurous repertoire, is celebrated for his ability to transform classical guitar music and bring it to unconventional venues like schools, senior centers, and prisons. A protégé of Andrés Segovia and graduate of Yale University, where he founded the guitar department, Fisk has premiered numerous works by composers such as Luciano Berio, Robert Beaser, and Leonardo Balada, while creating groundbreaking transcriptions of Bach, Scarlatti, and Paganini. His performances span iconic venues like Lincoln Center, Wigmore Hall, and Mozarteum Grosser Saal, as well as collaborations with distinguished musicians, including violinist Joshua Bell, flamenco legend Paco Peña, and the Arditti String Quartet.

Fisk's discography includes acclaimed recordings of both classical and contemporary works, such as Pop Concerto with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project and duos with Paco Peña and cellist Yehuda Hanani. As a professor at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg and the New England Conservatory, he teaches in multiple languages and has received numerous honors, including Spain's Cruz de Isabel la Católica for his contributions to Spanish music. As Founder and Artistic Director of Boston GuitarFest, Fisk continues to inspire audiences and transform the guitar repertoire, touring globally with performances alongside his wife, Zaira Meneses, and their daughter, pianist Raquel Fisk.
