Tom Leisek, an accomplished guitarist, has performed in diverse musical settings ranging from solo recitals to chamber music collaborations with musicians of various backgrounds in venues from intimate spaces to grand concert halls. A graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Master of Music degree, he has studied with renowned performers worldwide. His CD L'Esprit du Baroque, released by VGo Recordings, showcases original transcriptions of 17th and 18th-century French and German baroque lute repertoire. Tom has served as a faculty member at Sonoma State University, Pacific Union College, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and has also held the roles of Vice-President and Artistic Director of the San Francisco Classical Guitar Society. An advocate for creative exploration, he draws inspiration from composition to contribute meaningfully to the guitar's repertoire.
