Grisha Goryachev, a native of St. Petersburg, Russia, is a world-renowned guitarist celebrated for his extraordinary sensitivity and technical mastery in both classical and flamenco styles. Reviving the tradition of solo flamenco guitar in concert settings, Grisha honors the legacy of legends like Ramón Montoya and Sabicas while crafting his own unique interpretations. A child prodigy, he made his debut at age nine and quickly became a prominent figure in the Soviet Union, performing in prestigious concert halls and appearing regularly on national television and radio. His international acclaim began with a second-place win at the UNICEF-sponsored Danny Kaye International Children's Awards in 1991, which led to performances at the UN headquarters in New York and for the Royalty of Iceland.

Since relocating to the United States in 1997, with support from flamenco legend Paco de Lucía, Grisha has continued to expand his repertoire, blending classical and flamenco styles with a focus on preserving flamenco masterpieces. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music under the mentorship of Eliot Fisk, Grisha has received numerous accolades, including a special prize for the Best Performance of Spanish Music at the Julian Arcás International Classical Guitar Competition. His albums Alma Flamenca and Homenaje a Sabicas showcase his virtuosic talent and devotion to flamenco traditions. With over two million views on YouTube, Grisha continues to captivate audiences worldwide while engaging in outreach and educational workshops to inspire new generations of guitar enthusiasts.
